Hackers posted free some of the tools from the Arsenal group Equation Group.

The hacker or group of hackers under the alias The Shadow Brokers allegedly hacked into the servers group Equation Group, a suspect in connection with the national security Agency of the United States, and placed in open access some tools (malware, personal exploits and tools for hacking) in the Arsenal of authors of Stuxnet and Duqu. The published files mostly contain installation scripts, configuration data C&C servers and exploits, allegedly intended for attacks on routers and firewalls, several American manufacturers, including Cisco, Juniper and Fortinet. Among the stolen instruments, the participants of The Shadow Brokers also mentioned BANANAGLEE and EPICBANANA appearing in the documents released by former NSA employee Edward Snowden.

Currently, the authenticity of the hackers tools has not been confirmed, although a number of experts are inclined to believe that they are legitimate. However, as some argue, the leak could just be a raffle and auction to draw attention to himself.
